Inspiration Behind the Book

The Little Lab Adventures series was created from a simple but important question:
What if science felt exciting from the very beginning?

As a chemist, I’ve spent years working in environments where science is complex, technical, and often intimidating to those outside of it. But at its core, science is curiosity—it’s asking questions, exploring the unknown, and learning through experience. I wanted to bring that feeling back to the beginning.

Little Lab Adventures was designed to introduce children to science in a way that feels approachable, interactive, and fun. Instead of overwhelming concepts, the focus is on hands-on discovery—simple experiments that encourage kids to think, observe, and ask “why?”

This series is also deeply personal to me. As a mother, I understand how important it is to create meaningful learning moments early on. Children are naturally curious, and with the right tools, that curiosity can turn into confidence.

Every experiment and concept in this series is intentionally designed to be both engaging and grounded in real science—bridging the gap between education and creativity. More than anything, this series represents what I believe science should be: accessible, inspiring, and something every child feels capable of exploring.
